Dexter Pittman Flagrant Foul on Lance Stephenson & Wink
On the radio right now they are discussing if this is worse than the Ron Artest foul on Harden. I know that Artest has a terrible reputation but this is obviously pre-meditated and Pittman apparently winks to Miami teammates. The ball was already through the hoop when Pittman drives his elbow right into Stephenson’s throat and Pittman puts his whole body into it. All of this just because Stephenson made the choke sign earlier in the series. If you really think you’re the best team and someone is talking shit, the best way to shut them up is by beating them in the game. I’m not sure which one is worse but Pittman should miss as many games as Artest did. There were two other dirty plays in the game, one by Hansbrough, and one by Haslem, but this is by far the worst. Hansbrough at least went for the ball, the other two fouls were clearly intentional to send a message. Luckily for the Heat the refs are prohibited from calling flagrant 2s on them.
